Primary 7 have been learning how to deal with an emergency situation. They worked with a partner to talk through and walk through “DRSABC.” They enjoyed practicing CPR on the dummies.
P7 have started their posters for campaigning for house captain. Look out for them around the school next week! Voting will be on Friday.
Primary 6 have been learning about the structure and function of their sensory organs. This week we identified parts of the ear and made a clay model.
Primary 6 had a fantastic visit to the Scottish Parliament. They were shown around by MSP Paul O’Kane. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their visit and left with a fountain of new knowledge about the history, work and daily life within the Scottish Parliament to add to their class topic.
Paul was great at guiding the pupils around in a fun and informative manner whilst answering their questions.
The pupils’ behaviour, manners and respect at the Scottish Parliament was commented on from various members of staff. Well done Primary 6!

Primary 6 have been investigating chemical reactions and identifying the different signs of a reaction. The can identify reversable and irreversible reactions.

Primary 6 took part in young leader training with our Active School coordinator Chris.
The pupils worked together to learn games and activities they could introduce and teach the younger children in the school.
The pupils showed confidence when managing their groups, explaining their games and were active contributors.
